Both Australian and Canadian, teacher and student, designer and strategist, fan of basketball and politics, Carl has the unique ability to pull problem busting inspiration from his vast set of passions. Carl’s career began in toy design, but to our benefit, Carl has moved exclusively into healthcare since 2013, applying his 10+ years of progressive and applied design thinking experience to rethink and reinvent the status quo. Carl has a B. Industrial Design and a Masters in Strategic Foresight and Innovation from OCADU. Oh, and he plays punk rock on guitar, of course.
Chris’ career has been spent at the intersection of device technology and drug R&D, which is reflected in his deep passion for the science. Whether nanoparticles, drug development, drug delivery or one of the many diseases he has studied working for and with Pharma, he is eager to share the latest and greatest, and even more keen to learn of new updates. But do not let his passion for science distract you from his incredible strategic prowess, fine-tuned over 20+ years of in-industry experience. This experience grants Chris a level of understanding and intuition that gets to the root of even the messiest of challenges. Chris has a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Harvard University and has previously worked for Amgen, Pfizer, and McKinsey. He is a dedicated family man and an ex-team USA Olympic cyclist.
When not tackling strategic challenges, the team can be found applying their never ending creativity and curiosity to climbing mountains, creating paper arts, writing music, indulging in yoga, mastering the perfect shot of espresso, and furniture shopping for their new office space!
